TOUR ITINERARY

Duration: 3Days / 2 Nights

Start: Surabaya

End: Bali 

📅 Day 1 – Arrival in Surabaya - Transfer to Bromo Area

09:00 AM – Meet & Greet at Juanda International Airport (SUB), Surabaya. Your guide/driver will welcome you at the airport arrival hall.

09:30 AM – Start the journey to Bromo area (approx. 3.5 - 4 hours drive). Along the way, you will pass through small towns, rice fields, and                          scenic landscapes of East Java. A short stop for refreshments is possible if needed.

01:30 PM – Arrive at Bromo area and check in to the hotel/lodge near Cemoro Lawang Village. Optional: visiting madakaripura waterfall.                           (surcharges apply)

02:00 PM – Free time to relax and explore the surrounding area.  You can walk around the village and enjoy the view of Bromo from a                               distance. Optional: Visit Seruni Point for a sunset view of Mount Bromo. (surcharges apply)

08:00 PM – Rest early to prepare for the Bromo Sunrise Tour the next morning.

📅 Day 2 – Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Tour & Transfer to Bromo Area

03:00 AM – Pick up by 4WD Jeep for the Bromo Sunrise Tour.

                     Option: on weekends we recommend leaving early at around 2am to avoid traffic on the sunrise spot route.

04:30 AM – Arrive at Penanjakan Viewpoint (or King Kong Hill) to witness the spectacular sunrise.

                    This is the best viewpoint to see the golden sunrise illuminating Mount Bromo, Mount Semeru, and the surrounding landscape.

                    It can be very cold, so wearing warm clothes is recommended.

06:00 AM – After sunrise, descend to the Sea of Sand by Jeep.

06:30 AM – Start the hike to Mount Bromo’s crater. A short 15-20 minute walk across the Sea of Sand will take you to the base of Bromo.                            Then, climb 250 steps to reach the crater rim and witness the active volcanic crater up close.

08:00 AM – Return to the Jeep and drive to Teletubbies hill

10:00 AM – Breakfast at the hotel and freshen up.

11:00 AM – Check out and start the journey to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall (approx. 4-5 hours drive). Along the way, pass through beautiful                             countryside and hilly landscapes.

04:00 PM – Arrive at the accommodation near Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Check in and rest.

06:00 PM – Preparation for the Tumpak Sewu trek the next morning.

08:00 PM – Rest for the night.

📅 Day 3 – Bromo Sunrise Tour & Transfer to Surabaya

06:30 AM – Breakfast at the homestay.

07:00 AM – Start the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Trek. A 10-minute walk from the homestay to the Panoramic Viewpoint, where you get a                                breathtaking aerial view of the waterfall. After that, descend to the base of the waterfall (around 30-45 minutes trek), passing                        through steep paths and crossing small rivers. At the base, you can enjoy the majestic waterfall surrounded by lush jungle. Visit                      Goa Tetes, a hidden cave with stunning cascades and rock formations.

10:30 AM – Trek back up to the entrance and freshen up.

12:00 PM – Check out and start the journey to Banyuwangi (approx. 6-7 hours drive). The journey will take you through the beautiful                                 Lumajang region, with views of rice fields and villages.

07:00 PM – Arrive in Banyuwangi and check in to the hotel.

08:00 PM – Rest early to prepare for the Ijen Midnight Tour the next morning.

📅 Day 3 – Bromo Sunrise Tour & Transfer to Surabaya

00:30 AM – Pick up from the hotel for the Ijen Midnight Tour.

01:30 AM – Arrive at Paltuding Base Camp, the starting point for the Ijen trek.

02:00 AM – Start the trekking to Kawah Ijen crater (approx. 1.5 - 2 hours). The trek is about 3 km uphill with moderate difficulty. Along the                       way, you may see sulfur miners carrying heavy sulfur blocks.

03:30 AM – Arrive at the crater rim and descend to see the Blue Fire phenomenon. This is a rare natural event caused by sulfur gas                                   combustion, visible only at night. The descent is steep and rocky, requiring extra caution.

05:30 AM – After witnessing Blue Fire, watch the sunrise over the turquoise crater lake.

07:00 AM – Trek back down to the base camp.

08:30 AM – Return to the hotel for breakfast and freshen up.

10:00 AM – Check out and drive to Ketapang Ferry Port.

11:00 AM – Board the ferry to Bali (approx. 1-hour crossing).

12:00 PM – (Bali Time) – Arrive in Gilimanuk Port, Bali.

12:30 PM – Drop-off at your hotel/villa in Bali or the next destination.
