TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1 : SURABAYA –  ACCOMMODATION IN MOUNT IJEN AREA (BONDOWOSO TOWN)

09.00 : Pick up participants in Surabaya (airport/hotel/station), We will meet you at your hotel in the Surabaya area at 9:00 AM, if you are arriving via Surabaya Airport or Surabaya Gubeng Train Station, we can adjust the pickup-time based on your arrival in Surabaya but we recommend the time before midday. And then, we drive from Surabaya to Ijen Crater (Bondowoso area).

15.00 : Check in hotel – Free program – Rest, About late afternoon or in the early evening, we will reach your accommodation in Mount Ijen (Bondowoso area). Then, stay overnight before you enjoy the trekking in ijen crater at midnight.

DAY 2 :  EXPLROE IJEN CRATER – ACCOMMODATION IN MOUNT BROMO AREA

00.30 : Drive to Paltuding Area, Ijen crater tour will start about 00:30 AM, our car will bring us to Paltuding (the start point of the trek), you will be passing through the plantations and rainforest. This journey takes approximately 1 1/5 hours from the hotel.

02.00 : Start Tracking Ijen Mountain, Arriving at Paltuding of Ijen Crater, about 2 hours will be required to hike Ijen Crater. Upon your arrival at the peak of Ijen Crater with an altitude of 2385 mAsl. You must go down into the crater to see the blue fire phenomenon that you can only see in Ijen Crater and Dallol volcano in Ethiopia. This natural phenomenon will be gone when the sun rises, it means we have to be there when it’s still dark.

04.30 : Hunting Sunrise Ijen Peak, And about 4:30 am, we will go up to the peak of the crater to enjoy the sunrise from above. You will be amazed at the enchanting panorama of Ijen Crater; it has the lake of acid water where the water changes to be turquoise color.

08.00 : Drive to Bromo Area, After enjoying the enchanting scenery at Crater of Ijen Crater then we will go down to the parking area where our car is waiting for escorting you back to the hotel then we will continue to the next destination, that is Mount Bromo, we will drive for about 5-6 hours. We will pass the local villages, coffee plantation, rice field, and Pasir Putih coastline.

14.00 : Chek In Hotel – Free program, Estimated trip around 5-6 hours. Upon your arrival in Mount Bromo area, you will stay in lava view hotel or similar hotel for an enjoyable stay before you do Bromo sunrise tour.

DAY 3 :  EXPLROE MOUNT BROMO – TRANSFER TO SURABAYA (HOTEL, AIRPORT, TRAIN STATION)

02.00 : Drive to Sunrise Point Penanjakan by Jeep, Mount bromo tour will be started around at 3:30 AM (when you come to Mount Bromo on the weekend, we have to start the tour earlier), the jeep will bring you to the most famous viewpoint on Mount Bromo area. That is Penanjakan hill, from the hill we can see the best sunrise in East Java with mountains and volcanoes as a background.

07.00 : Explore Mount Bromo, Afterward, the jeep will continue your adventure holiday to reach the sea of sands in bromo area area. We will stop at the parking area then you will cross the sea of sands by riding a horse or on foot (it is optional) till reaching the stairs at the slope of Mount Bromo where it will lead you to reach the peak of Mt. Bromo.

09.00 : Back to Hotel, After enjoying the volcanic activity on the top of Mount Bromo, you have to go back to your jeep then the jeep will bring you back to the hotel for breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into our car

11.00 : Drive to Surabaya, afterward we will continue our trip to the Surabaya area (Hotel, Airport or Train Station). The trip will take about 3-4 hours.
